Alluvial meadowSolutions where there are not a permanent water surface, but water gathers in the areas during heavy rainfalls and when the snow melts in spring.
Catchment areaThe catchment area includes all the land area that drains rainfall into rivers, streams, basins or other reservoir. Usually a large catchment area is often made up of a number of smaller catchments called sub-catchments.
Nature-based solution (NBS)NBS are multifunctional and cost-effective measures that address societal challenges by protecting, developing or creating ecosystems while promoting biodiversity and human wellbeing.
